After Rodney was discharged from active duty with a service-connected disability and his wife, Lisa, completed her term in service with the U.S. Army in 1995, they settled in Lee County, Florida. Rodney started his video production career as a video editor for WRXY Christian Television in 1997. While the production studio was being built in 1998, Rodney started his studio training. Over the next 15 years, Rodney provided support to the production team by assisting in floor directing, technical directing, camera operations, audio mixing, lighting placement & control, postproduction editing, and graphics placement. He co-produced over 20 television programs while at WRXY including a program called Restoration Time in which Rodney produced entirely himself. Restoration Time aired on network television for 3 ½ years in 15 different markets across the U.S. Starting late in 2013, Rodney spent the next 11 months providing postproduction editing services for missionaries in Haiti. In February 2015, Rodney joined up with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office as their video production specialist, where he spent the next 9 ½ years creating content promoting law enforcement and producing training videos, silly Christmas videos, and public service announcements. Most recently, in February 2025, Rodney & Lisa launched out on a new adventure and established L & R Video Productions LLC. Our mission is to create video content for you!
